I genuinely cannot find any explanation on why robbylangdon is so unpopular while hucklerobby blew up around the Emmys (wasn't even popular before that somehow?) if it's not for Frank being an addict.
The age and size difference? Check. The toxicity and miscommunication? Check. Already adore each other? Check. Dog motif? Check. "Robby felt intimate with Langdon"? Literally check. Robby can keep Frank in check by barking at him? Check. Frank adores Robby? Check. The potential to become more angsty? Check. The potential to heal and become even better friends in the future? Check. Frank calling Robby "boss"? Check. Robby writing a letter of recommendation to Frank unprompted? Check. Double fist bumps? Check.
Like??? I feel like if Frank wasn't an addict, people would jump on that ship immediately? Like robbylangdon makes SO much more sense? So what is it if it's not that? What am I missing?
