haiii i would luv to get to know ur slayer ocs ( ≧ ᗜ ≦ )
HII!!!
I love my halaku!! the 7th house is my favourite, I find them so crunchy and deliciously grim with so many fun facets to play with. I also find them the easiest to throw in with other splats bc world of darkness's constant is death :v
My most distinct is Bergamot/ the Hatman. A gargauntaun 20 foot Ereshkigal who has had more than enough time to cement himself as a powerful parasite on the Giovanni and it's neighbouring families. He does this for a variety of reasons, both to discourage particularly egregious necromancy as well as keeping an eye on their advancements. While to some he is largely benign- a shepherd of the dead, he is a parasite in many facets. He feeds largely off the ghosts he strategically rescues and the ghouls/revenants he ensnares into manipulative lifelong contracts that carry over into undeath. He is not starved for faith at all, so he tends to just sit inbetween his apocalyptic and human form in a distorted horror.
His host was once a Rossellini hedge mage who made a pact to summon him into the mortal world in return for avenging his soon demise.
Bergamot himself, has a very very bleak view on the living world, with little interest in preserving or fighting for it. He dislikes near all but those of his house and is squarely a ravener. He spends time reinforcing and learning about preserving the world of the dead and picking up his old projects in the alabaster legion, but he has a tendency to be very callous about the living. He cares to a point about his thralls but rarely when it affects his goals.
He is an emotional support parasite. Funfact, he loves food and especially sweet food, and will use his horrifying form to grab tasty treats and has a passion for high speed vehicles! Sadly he's too big..
Mortis my depressed grieving creature. An apathetic namtar cryptic who walks inbetween aiding the dead and helping the occasional person. His bleak outlook is offputting to many humans and 'human' demons, resulting in some clashes. He's largely a gentle soul seeking to learn how to grieve mortality as humans do, but is not removed from his capacity to deal death quickly. His favoured thrall is an Innocent hunter by the name of Caspian. He's had several bad run ins with the inquisition because of this - and accidentally was the cause of imbuing of a certain wayward.
Mykhailo - I am still developing , but he is a faustian slayer who is dissatisfied with the resigned inaction of his house, he seeks to be more than the stereotypes that other fallen have of the halaku, he will not be a grim idle creature resigned to the end, ushering in the dead.
Erhard! My reconciler slayer. I am also developing him, but he is of the nergal visage and has the host of an eclectic occult obsessed old man. Having been the final nail in alienating his remaining relatives, he seeks to make right with god and do what he has to earn his forgiveness.
