love these dorks. they love hina, and it's so funny considering they're both just regular dudes who have only ever been on the receiving end of devil fruit powers. both of their faces here are gold, fullbody especially.
smoker's snail exhaling smoke just like he would is a really neat detail i love.
i love toto, so happy he had a happy ending. his smile is genuinely warm.
love that the original ending theme plays here! makes the look back on the arc so nice and sweet.

don't know how i feel about this. really cheapens the whole point.
makes you genuinely wonder what else is just sitting in the going merry, waiting to be thrown at enemies.
i really truly hope we see them again.

love how cool and calm and collected she is so pretty i love her
this scene is a fascinating look into robin. she's an opportunist, like nami, but hungers for knowledge and truth, for her own pleasure. i love how she always had a plan to betray crocodile and knew nothing good would actually come from helping him. she comes off as a deeply... abused and untrustworthy person, but you can't help but root for her.
i like that she's a nerd, and a scholar at that. she's something the ship is desperately missing. and her brutal honest about her past and skills, even if she is 100000% hiding something, is great because she doesn't care what happens. it's a great mindset for such an interesting and morally grey character, especially now that she's part of the main crew.
nami once again showing her true true colors lol
these two idiots should be fun. wonder what will win them over.

interesting that zoro is the only one who doesn't trust her yet. understanably, of course. but he's typically very straight forward, no nonsense kinda guy. you'd think they'd gel. all in all, i do think that alabasta is a phenomenal arc, the best so far, and we have some miraculous and much-needed character growth from the whole cast. chopper is a wonderful and heart-wrenching addition (my favorite now until a certain cyborg joins). loved elbaf before this, and crocodile is far and away my favorite villain so far. we had a lot of good moments here, such as karoo (any), vivi and koza's friendship, the existence of igaram, and so many more moments. 9/10 arc, needs more karoo.
