I don't have a screen shot of the first hate ask I got, but this is the second one I have received.
Jacksonās Diary is back (yay!). I agree with this comment. Idk how people read the webtoon and their takeaway is that Jackson is this antagonistic jerk. The amount of comments Iāve read through from people genuinely thinking Jackson is out to sabotage and hurt David and Exerās relationship confuses me. What about this plot or what you saw Jackson go through gives that? Are people so focused on their ship they forgot the main plot line of the story?
Jackson isnāt the antagonist, he never has been. Exer used to be but now isnāt. Iād argue that in the end he was never supposed to be. Both him and Jackson did things that were bad but the fandom seems committed to punishing Jackson for it. Even though Jackson did it in reaction to Exer. The magic shit guys is the main plot line. Itās the ābig bad villainā and the one we should be keeping a close eye on. Not āomg Jackson is gonna sabotag-ā NO. Jackson is a teenage boy who had to deal with the fact he was bullied and seeing things and now has no form of therapy but the diary thatās causing the problem to lay out his problems.
