Idk how discordants are exactly supposed to work, I'm working with the lore they had in Overture. But no Boo was born a vampire, she was from the planet of spooky discordants that the team stopped at. Her family was the group of vampires there. She wandered into the ship before the crew left and the planet got destroyed killing her family with it. Which is why Chuckles ended up taking her in, feeling as if this is his karma for how much he judged the spooky discordants.

Ethel is very friendly to the others in the group (except Virgil, I'll get to him)

Lethica adores Ethel and loved learning her hand clapping games and will let Ethel play with her hair.

Ethel feels sorry for Farryn and the loss of her girlfriend.

Ethel hates to see Yorgrim so sad and does her best to cheer him up

She thinks Briggsy is funny and wishes he would have a little more courage and faith in the future sometimes.

Ethel respects Marius amd reminds him that he's doing such a good job leading everyone and keeping them safe. Marius is thankful for her encouragement and nice words

Her sin is Vanity, and her dark gift was given to her by a mysterious doctor who surgically attached a vengeful spirit to her mind and body

In life she was a young bard who ran away from home to become a star

But her vanity lead her to dark places, with evil souls

She found herself on a job she was not qualified for, a distraction for a heist

When the job went bad she found herself torn to shreds by guard dogs,

When she woke she didnt know where she was, how she ended up where she was

Surgical scars long healed decorated her body, she was alone in a house seemingly half burnt down

Found other bodies around the buildings charred reamins

But there was no sight of where, or what had done this to her, no proof but the scars and an insignia on her chest

She found her belongings outside in a pile of what must of been other victims gear and clothing

She was never meant to leave that house, she was sent to rot with the rest of the experiments gone wrong, but she had come back

It was easy to tell she wasnt on the material plane or home in the feywilds

So she wandered, trying to find answers to the mystery of her supposed kidnapping

Until she discovered the nature of the surgery she seems to have undergone

Dead flesh and bone inplanted throughout her body live by sapping her energy

To keep the soul attached to the remains alive

A corpse, has been disassembled and surgically attached inside of her, some limbs swapped

The soul of the person, remains

Now trapped inside it is angry and is constantly seeking escape, control, autonomy

They are both victims of the same person

but develop a deep malice for eachother

And blame eachother for their circumstances

The soul, Eris, was once a bard as well

A great one he says, he speaks in her mind occasionally but usually just plants ideas

How they work mechanically is ,instead of vials and syringes that cause the rage, its eris taking over

He can compose himself occasionally but is almost beastial in his rage most of the time

The art is so good I just love the Soul Eater vibes of the Eris scythe AND VIRGIL AND ERIS BEING LIKE "EAT THAT BITCH" MEANWHILE LORELEI AND JERICHO ARE JUST TALKING ABOUT THE WEATHER
