They go down inside the laboratory and Jane kinda briefly explains that she transitioned but she can't go into details at the moment, she's more concerned about how sad Chloe looks. Then Chloe stands up and she's CHAINED to the wall. She admits to Jane that it's been months since she was outside. Rodney chained her up after sneaking out multiple times. Doofenshmirtz sees her chained up and he's sick to his stomach at the disturbing sight. So he admits to Jane that this is pretty fucked up but is still suspicious of Chloe. So Chloe gives away information they need to stop whatever Rodney is doing, which is time sensitive. Doofenshmirtz promises her they'll come back for her if she's telling the truth. And she was.

So a different night they (Jane, Doof and Perry) plan to help Chloe escape from Rodney's laboratory. Shenanigans happen and a fight breaks out. In the chaos Chloe's arm gets ripped off. They do end up getting Chloe home and into the bedroom that Jane can't fit in anymore. Doofenshmirtz assures Chloe he can fix her up and it breaks his heart a little when Chloe admits she's never slept in a bed before. Doofenshmirtz wants to be a hater but quickly grew fond of Chloe.
