-Perry as a secret agent is kept under a strict code in regards to hairstyle. He must keep it in a buzz cut with a simple style to keep him indistinguishable. He cannot express himself with his hair as an agent. At the very least he's allowed to get a sharp fade but even then it has to be hidden under his hat

When Perry is able to retire and live as a real normal person he can finally grow out his hair and style it to his own personal tastes. So he gets to wear cornrows for the first time and it takes him feel happy.

-His teal hair is natural the same way Phineas and Ferb's hair colors are natural

-Perry owns very nice hair products and owns silk pillow cases and bed sheets. But he still wears durags at home because it's one of the ways he can still express himself.

-He loves old school jazz and owns records of Miles Davis, Cab Calloway and Sammy Davis Jr. He also loves Frank Sinatra and Louie Armstrong. He's also a sucker for Ska, Rap and R&B

-Perry is has been trained into believing that being soft and vulnerable is something he cannot afford. Sure he can be silly and happy with his step-nephews but he feels the need to keep his emotions under control all the time and stay numb to his desires.

-He's expected strong all the time both in endurance and with his feelings and he puts a lot of pressure on himself to keep things that way. He doesn't let himself cry and he gets frustrated with himself when he's not doing good enough.

-He's very confident in himself, he loves that he's athletic, cunning and has a good stamina. He loves his physical capabilities and it makes him feel powerful but at the same time he wishes he could also just be a ordinary person instead of being a secret agent.

-Perry also feels like love and romance is something he isn't allowed to have. He wants to be held softly and kissed by his nemesis. He loves the action and catharsis he gets from battle but he also wants to expierence romance and tenderness. He's a protector and he loves his family but for once he wants to be taken care of.

-Doofenshmirtz brings out a softer sillier more emotional side to him that he's afraid of. He feels like he can be himself more with Doofenshmirtz but at the agency he has to put up a tough act. He feels like he can crack jokes and be sarcastic without getting scolded for being unprofessional.

-the first time he snuggled with Doofenshmirtz it made him cry from realizing how deprived he is from being held and touched

-as cheesy and predicable as they are he does love old black and white spy movies. He's also a sucker for Lutenant Columbo and owns the entire DVD collection.
