Sketch dump of my welsh/irish fairytale girls with their new names. Lilian is the only child of a well-off family whose autism (undiagnosed, because the period predates that diagnoses) has led to her being called a changeling in the past. As a result, she developed a fixation and love of fairytales dealing with the fair folk, and when her new tutor, Sophia, and tutor’s quiet and skittish niece, Erin, find employment at the manor, she begins to suspect them of fairy connections.

A mini sketch dump of my welsh fairytale characters. I'm in the process of renaming the story and...all the characters. But I'm having fun reworking the story and characters using things I'm learning from reading up on welsh and irish folklore (the story takes place in Wales during...the 1870s probably?, but two of the main characters are from Ireland) as well as autism. Also, I’ve been reworking the face shapes if a lot of my characters to have more diversity and also better reflect their personalities. It’s a slow, gradual process of me improving my art under the weight of my chronic illnesses.
