Liamont was not an easy man to find following the Final Days. He had not supported the war efforts in the east due to the ongoing issues within Ishgard, but when his countrymen -- primarily those of the clergy who he had served beside for much of his life -- succumbed to their internal struggles and changed into monstrous beasts, there was little to stop his blade. Had the sky burned scarce weeks earlier, he too would have succumbed to such emotions and became naught but a Blasphemy; anger, hatred, and little else left within him but the desire to consume his fellow man... Yet, through the companions he had gathered, he had been saved and granted a new purpose. In this, Liamont defended his common man and rooted out the clergy as they changed. Even when the rumors that the Warrior of Light was triumphant rang out from Sharlayan, Liamont continued his hunt with the new fervor that had been granted to him.
