Since quite a few people seemed to like photos of internal organs… Here’s a video I took of the inside of my stomach, my large intestine, and the sounds coming from my belly. I’d be really happy if you liked even just a part of my body.

You had to go in for an endoscopy and you were very nervous. Luckily you would be able to bring your boyfriend with you for support. You had an adverse reaction to anesthesia last time so you had to opt for a minimal use this time.

You were taken to the hospital and they had you change into a gown and cap. After that they explained the procedure to you.

“Alright, so today we will be doing an endoscopy. You won’t be put to sleep which is fine but most people do get put under for this so be prepared to be a little bit uncomfortable alright” the doctor said and you nodded.

They took you to the room where your boyfriend also came in for support.

“I’m just going to give you this cannula, it’s going to be giving you some oxygen alright” the nurse said as he put the cannula on you.

“Okay, I’m going to have you open your mouth so I can give you some throat spray to help you not feel as much there” he said as he sprayed it into your mouth.

“Great, now I’m going to have you lay on your side for us” he said and you went to lay on your side.

“Good, I’m going to put this bite block in so if you could open your mouth for me” he placed the bite block in.

“Okay sweetheart, are you ready?” the doctor asked and you nodded. He went to slip the camera into your throat when you started to gag in which you scared yourself.

“This is a normal reaction, don’t worry” he said but you had started to panic and tears were now coming down your face. He pulled out the little of the tube he got in to give you a minute.

Your boyfriend had come over to wipe your tears and tell you to calm down.

“You’re going to be alright sweetheart, it’s going to go by so fast. Just focus on your breathing and it’ll be over soon” he said rubbing your hand. You just nodded and squeezed his hand.

“Alright let’s try this again” the doctor said.

He slipped the tube in and you kept squeezing your boyfriends hand. It took about 7 minutes and you choked a couple of times but your boyfriend kept you calm.

“Good job, see you did it” the doctor said and left the room.

“You did so great honey I’m proud of you” he said as he kissed your forehead.

A nurse came in to remove the bite block and take you to your room to wait for the results.
