What is it with all the empire line dress doodles ?!

Forgive the silly face there is a story to it. But I wanted to talk about my #regency dress for now. This was the first time I had worn in it public and not a single person battered am eye. Now it could be because I am in a #wheelchair who knows. But i felt wonderful. I looked even better. Ok I need a bonnet and a Spencer. Both of which I am going to make. But yes I can safly say that this is the way for me to go. I was so comfortable. Nothing was digging in like modern clothes. My Mum has asked me to sell these three Empire Line dresses of hers! The two outside ones were made for her personally by a dressmaker in the 1960s which she wore when she worked at the dance hall she taught at. The middle was purchased during the same era.
