This Red Nose Day, Radio 1 presenter Greg James takes on his most gruelling and absurd challenge yet: cycling 1000kms across the UK over 8 arduous days…on a tandem!

Whilst Greg is no stranger to Comic Relief challenges, Radio 1’s Longest Ride will throw him truly out of his comfort zone as he takes on the longest challenge and furthest distance ever completed by a Radio 1 challenger.

From his start line in Weymouth on 13th March, Greg will need every ounce of physical and mental strength to keep pedalling as his journey takes him through Wales, the Midlands and the North of England, to his finish line in Edinburgh on Friday 20 March – Red Nose Day itself.

After his 2018 challenge, Greg had said ‘never again’ - but he’s back and pushing himself to the limits for Comic Relief. This time, Greg is raising funds for projects that help people eat, sleep and feel safe, offering local, fast support when and where it’s needed most.
