Finished sorting my embroidery thread <3
A bunch of scrap threads sorted, neatly arranged, and waiting to be entangled in the second End of the Yarn Thread coaster
•NO GUTS, NO GLORY •
Two years ago Mexico was passing through a very hard time. The earthquake from 19S not just shake the ground, but people's heart. I remember had fear to go out the streets, but also I remember some of the few thing that help me calm my mind. One of those was this beautiful album: Skin&Earth from Lights. Since then, has been one of the soundtracks of my life.
Plus, I have to say that nobody has teach me that when you put all your heart, love and passion in something, beautiful things happen, more than Lights.
Update on Thread Disaster
Yesterday I received a box in the mail with a replacement cone of the silver metallic thread - let us hope there are no defects in it! LOL!
I was also given three thread samples; a metallic/rayon blend called ‘Entice’, and two lamé braids in two different sizes. All of these threads are available from Rainbow Gallery.

Colours selected for my next pattern! It's based on Night in the Woooooods, and I got the idea for this pattern the moment I saw this Mae-navy fabric in my supply box. Sadly my extensive collection of Anchor threads didn't have the exact shades I wanted for the bottom section, but I think I chose a good set anyway. Also this pattern is gonna include so many fractional stitches. I need to stop designing them like this ffs.
Cross stitch question.
I'm using metallic dmc thread for my mum and dad's silver anniversary present and I'm struggling with it as the strands keep separating into individual strands and then they keep splitting so I end up having to try and thread about 5 little ends into the needle constantly not to mention it's very scratchy so it's not as smooth to sew with. Is there anyway l can make the thread smoother like normal thread or to stop it splitting so much.
