Gideon/Elsepth parallel?
Gideon and Elsepth to me are both the iconic "white knight" and they also seem to share back story pieces. Both have strong ties to Bant, both have a past that haunts them (both involving their part in the deaths of innocence), both have ties to heliod. A rough timeline of gideon and elsepth Elsepth: Phyrexian Plane->planeswalk->Discovers and trains in Bant->leaves Bant->bums around->travels until a group of PW takes her to a phyrexian plane->Goes to Theros and ends up dead Gideon: Theros/God plane->planeswalks to bant and trains there->leaves bant->bums around->will end up going to a plane with a possibly similar theme like his own with group of PW->? What i suggest is next time we see a Phyrexian plane we will be seeing a very dead gideon or corrupted gideon. Now i'm sure everyone thinking, oh but gideon is indestructible but I would like to remind you, -1/-1 counters are a very phyrexian thing and no matter how indestructible something is once their toughness hits zero, they go straight to the graveyard.
