Hi I am NOT well versed in Egg!Velvet theory but I hadn’t seen any posts from today’s streams so just for everybody’s consideration:
- Today Bad said the next egg lore stream from him will be his last, calling it final egg lore a bunch of times, but ALSO saying it would really kick things off. The specific wording he used makes it seem possible that even though the egg might be gone after the stream, that is NOT the end for the storyline (Egg hatching? Potentially??)
- The server just gained a new member, Michaelmcchill! And as we know, new members tend to get added in pairs or a few at around the same time, right around big lore happening. With one new member down, the odds of a second new member being added very soon goes up, and since Velvet is presumably already very caught up with the lore, it makes sense to join in the middle of big lore
- Remember, the Eggheads said the Egg basically needed people to die in front of it in order to hatch, and so far the death count in front of it is already up to 3 people, which is apparently not enough. In this “final egg lore” it may only take one or two more deaths for it to finally hatch, and rest assured, something is going to be in that egg. It makes a lot of sense to have a player control whatever it is that comes out
Combine this with a lot of the previous Egg!Velvet evidence, such as BBH saying he can’t say who voices the egg bc it’s a spoiler (I know a lot of people are pretty sure that what they heard was Bad but I’m not totally convinced) as well as Antfrost saying the Egg isn’t offering him anything, and Velvet himself hinting at it a bit on Twitter, it seems more and more compelling tbh. Like, technically I suppose it could be anyone that hatches out of the egg, but honestly Velvet still seems most likely, because whoever it is would have to know the egg lore pretty well like as soon as they joined, would have to have been actively keeping up with it, and who do we know has been doing that 👀👀
