POTs

So, I have now been diagnosed with POTs. It is a dysautonomic syndrome that can cause people to pass out or feel close to it. It stands for postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. Basically when I stand up my blood pressure (bp) will bottom out and my heart rate (hr) ge midts really high to compensate and I pass out. It isn't fun, but I would like to inform others about my journey with it and hopefully help. Thanks! Michelle the potsey

Just had my first encounter with the whole "OMFG WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY HANDS WHY ARE THEY PURPLE?!" For the most part it was just my right hand and mainly my fingers but still scared the crap outta me. But, I suppose that's what you get when you are scrolling down your dash for about an hour without giving your phalanges a chance to breathe.

Well the stay up all night and day plan didn't work. Fell asleep around 9am and woke up around 2pm. Hope I can sleep tonight.

Chest has been hurting even when simply changing from laying to sitting. Honest question (despite how uncomfortable it is) anyone know if you should increase your salt intake when you are menstruating?
