more birthday bug ko-fi doodles! thanks to everyone who contributed to my birthday treat fund.
Dynastes tityus, my beloved
(For a page I’m making for my website >:3)
(Also I posted this earlier but realised I’d used the common name for the related species Dynastes grantii in the image because I am a dumb bugfox who somehow didn’t initially notice oh no!!!)
If my boyfriend were a bug I think he' be a Common Blue Damselfly- and he think I'd be the grub of a Western Hercules Beetle!
Thus, I decided to draw us as them!
I think people should group them together more often
In my head they have a very funny dynamic
If you're wondering who the one in pink is, is Gaby Alva she's an OC of my beautiful girlfriend jgkdkg

(earnestcore craft lunchbox dynastes)
Anonymous submitted: hercules beetle (?) found on the sidewalk…moved her to the grass so she would not be smooshed. she was enormous and had the prettiest, glossiest body. what a gentle giant. grateful to have held her for a few seconds.
Yep, a female Hercules beetle! She’s large and perfect and I love her deeply.
BEETLES!!!! I tried to make another one that was more Keychain friendly what do yall think?
