Hippodamia variegata / Variegated Lady Beetle
First time seeing one! Actually two. if you notice the different pronotum markings. what happened was we needed to check on a neighbour's house and my mom saw another neighbour that we hadn't talked to in like 6 years lol so ofc she had to spend like 40 minutes talking to her so i spent the time crouching in the grass looking at bugs. Im just saying if you get bored easily... bugs is everywhere

Did you know that Prosopocoilus savagei is a large species of stag beetle found in central and eastern Africa? The males will measure up to 65mm long, including their impressive mandibles making them twice as long as the females. Like other stag beetles, these ones use their large mandibles to fight other males for good breeding spots or food.
