They’re playing Dungeon!
Released in 1975 (one year after dnd), it’s a board game very similar to dnd, mirroring many aspects, but easier (for those new to fantasy games or looking for a quick game)
The interesting thing is that in Dungeon! there are only 4 character classes (at least in the 1975 version, which is the one they’re playing)
- Elf (represented by a green piece)
- Hero (represented by a blue piece)
- Superhero (represented by a red piece)
- Wizard (represented by a white piece)
