#duel runner

thanks to a bunch of youtube videos I just know it can be really...silly...?

Anyway...YuGiOh 5Ds.

Biker boys playing card games. So they're biker nerds. It's a blessed combo. They also have that biker gang, intimidating with hearts of gold thing, going perfectly. Two of them are marked up because they went to the detention facility for fighting back against society and the third one is a human skyscraper: intimidating.

At some point, whether at the end of the Synchro arc or later on, Rin’s/Yugo’s TK2000PS Duel Runner is trashed by a brainwashed Yugo much like how a brainwashed Rin destroyed it originally. However, rather than leaving it behind, here Rin has the time and resources to try and rebuild the bike. In many respects, this new bike could be even better than the old one, however Rin also notes that this is no longer the bike she and Yugo built together, but instead hers alone. Even then, Rin eventually realizes there are still a few key pieces missing.

Which is when Crystal steps in and infuses her own spirit and power into the bike, completing the new Duel Runner. Which is essentially the bike seen in ‘Hi-Speedroid Clear Wing Rider’, albeit based more off of Crystal Wing rather than Clear Wing. And is appropriately titled by Rin, the ‘Crystal Wing Rider’.

Rather than being built by Yugo and Rin, this new Duel Runner is the product of Rin and Crystal Wing.

Also, the bike is in some respects a physical avatar of Crystal Wing, given that her spirit is now linked to it. Notably, because the duel runner has built-in solid-vision projectors, Crystal can use those to essentially physically manifest herself whenever and however she likes. Even to the point of sometimes transforming the bike into her dragon form.

But what are D-Wheel tires made of? I know it's stupid, but what exactly are the tires of Duel Runners made from? It can't be rubber otherwise there'd be more scenes of them blowing out, especially during races. It seems to be some kind of metal given the sparks and sound given off when someone guns the engine of their respective D-Wheel, but I can't think of a single metal that would have the provide enough friction to do half the shit they do on the track.

So... someone out there... please tell me...
