I wish Master Duel had a mode where I could give the ai opponent a deck that I've made, so I could more easily test some decks. Currently, if you want to test a deck out a bit before you take it into PvP, you don't have many good options. The ai is stupid. Like, really stupid. It's only got a fair shot at making plays against you if it's deck is really good, even the newest addition the Fabled Fiendsmith hybrid deck, isn't well crafted enough for the ai not to completely whiff its plays.
If you want something a little challenging that will present you with similar interruptions that a real player might use, you've only really got that deck and the 2 previous additions- Fire Kings and Atlanteans. The Fire King deck, in my experience, is the only one the ai is fairly consistent in not misplaying majorly, and the deck itself is actually fairly strong. Not that the Atlantean and Fabled ones aren't strong, they're crafted fairly well, but for whatever reason the ai just misuses its extra deck a lot of the time, but it really doesn't with Fire Kings, plus It's got lots of searching, tons of removal in destruction, decent swarming, and some attack boosters that let them get over a lot of bosses. Of course the biggest deal is the 2 Called by the Grave, 2 Maxx C, and 3 Ash Blossoms, so they've got the essential hand traps mostly covered, allowing you to actually see how well a decks opening can be when it isn't flawlessly executing every card effect like you will be against most of the other solo mode decks.
