[SDV] "Outlet"
Summary: Amid their busy schedule as followers of the Lady With The Red Tail. Daia and Jio have taken-up a more pleasurable outlet for their pent-up stress with the help of the new farmer that's moved into the valley.
Warning(s): Threesome, 50% Plot / 50% Pron, Some Slight OOC themes (Jio and Daia are initially more curious of the farmer/reader rather than vice versa), Farmer is low-key kinda written as a shy they/them failure, Nothing too aggressive here, its literally just Daia and Jio being horny (and me quietly wishing I was sitting in the cuck chair while writing this ngl)
Side Note(s): As fun as this was to write, it was hard to write Daia since I’ve never taken too much of an interest in her besides acknowledging she’s a total girl boss, and some of her dialogue is fun to read through. (Aka big chance that some things may ooc for her, but I’m tryin’ my best here 🫡)
Writing this fic also low-key opened my eyes that I should write more lady-on-lady content, btw—totally for practice ofc <333
When you first moved into the valley, you hadn't originally planned on staying for very long; you were here for two simple reasons. One, to restore your grandfather's farm and ensure that his home and a few other things on the property were rebuilt in respect to his memory. And two, to make enough money off of it before making the hard decision to either sell it off to the highest bidder or see if someone else in your family wanted the land for themselves.
After all, you weren't made for farming in the slightest!
Hell, you were beginning to question if you were truly related to your grandfather to begin with!
He was the one with the green thumb, not you! You cringed at the feeling of dirt compared to the cold, hard feeling of a keyboard key. You especially hated how the dirt got underneath your skin, and after working at Joja for so long, your skin was unused to being exposed to so much sunlight for long periods of time!
You bruised easily whenever you fell, and you've gotten so many splinters up to this point from cutting down trees that you were starting to form calluses on your fingers. But, despite all of that, and the clear fact that you didn't really belong in this valley...you had to admit that the people made it worth it.
Almost.
Robin and Lewis were friendly, making your first few weeks in the valley as warm and welcoming as possible. Sam, Abigail, and Sebastian were fun as well, kind to you, and always offering for you to hang out with them. And Harvey was sweet as well! Whenever an injury was too serious for you to handle on your own, he was always patient with you and made sure to recommend that you to take it easy, not that you ever really listened.
You just wanted the farm off your hands and to return to the city, where, though the conditions were more unforgiving, it was at least familiar.
With that thought in mind, however...you had forgotten why you had visited the forests that outlined the outskirts of Ridgeside Village to begin with. Was it foraging? Fishing maybe? With each step, you scrambled to remember exactly what your purpose was despite the small basket you carried on your arm and the sunhat you wore on your head to protect you from the fading glare of the sun, thanks to the incoming rain.
You'd have to make your errands around the forest quick, although the rain felt miles better than the intense sunlight, you didn't like the sensation of being rained on either— "Is that the new farmer?" A voice snapped you from your thoughts, causing you to rapidly blink your eyes before you focused in on what was ahead of you. A woman and a man, both of them staring intensely at a map...at least, the man was. For the woman? As the two of you looked at each other in equal shock, you watched how the strange woman's face slowly morphed into one of curiosity and then a more flirtatious nature.
You couldn't help the blush that crept onto your cheeks, the words to greet the pair and introduce yourself getting caught up in your throat, the more you continued to look at the woman— "Are you going to keep staring at us, stranger?"
Your mouth opened and closed repeatedly as you struggled to find your words. "S-Sorry!" You stuttered. "I didn't want anything, I was just passing by..." You continued, forcing down a nervous gulp down your throat as your blush further deepened when the man looked up from the map and at you. Despite the two of you only just meeting, his sharp green eyes were already narrowed into a suspicious glare; however, as you tried to look elsewhere aside from his heavy glare...you noticed— "Your ears..." You murmured, a little bit too loudly for the pair were able to hear.
The woman's eyes widened, looking from you to her friend and then back to you again. "You can see the true shape of his ears?" She gasped. Slowly, the man reached a hand up to his ear, as if he were attempting to cover them, although it was already too late. "That's new." The woman added on, a nervous squeak escaping your lips when the man handed off his map to the woman to walk up closer to you. You threatened to shrink under his gaze, although it was a little lighter compared to moments earlier, he nonetheless looked at you as if he were looking for something in particular. "Interesting." Was the only word he murmured before stepping back away from you.
"What did you see, Jio?"
"Nothing of importance." He curtly answered.
You may have been more offended at his words if you had understood a little bit more about what the two of them were talking about. But, you simply stood there, dumbfounded as you watched the pair discuss something between the two of themselves before the woman looked at you again with a smile. "Sorry about Jio's...less than friendly attitude. He's always like this."
The man—Jio, responded with a roll of his eyes before crossing his arms.
"I'm Daia, we're...well, we work a lot in the forest. We're just here for research purposes."
When you nodded your head slowly, Daia couldn't help but chuckle a little at how confused you still looked. Whether you could see the true shape of Jio's ears or not, besides the fact that no one was certain to believe your words if you were to tell anyone, at the same time? You appeared far too nervous to even attempt such a thing! When she and Jio were both briefed by their lady that the late farmer's grandchild would be taking over the farm, she was expecting someone more...confident? Less nervous and wide-eyed, as if you were afraid of being snatched away by some predatory animal at random.
It was adorable.
As for Jio? As he spared you another glance, silently looking over your body...he remained unmoved. When he had inspected you closer up moments earlier, he wasn't able to sense that there was anything unique about you; you were simply an odd soul who was capable of seeing the true shape of his ears. And according to the rumors in Pelican Town about you, that you weren't cut out for farm life and were just here to restore your grandfather's farm, someone who stuck to themselves and stayed out of harm's way...he wasn't worried about you attempting to talk much. You didn't appear as someone who got into trouble, much less trying to be nosy.
"We should be going," Jio said.
Daia pouted as she continued to look at you, as if she were trying to commit your features to memory, much to your embarrassment.
You couldn't help the feeling that...she was trying to undress you with her eyes. Her gaze lingered too long, and when you cleared your throat in the hope of trying to bring her attention back to your gaze, she only did so briefly to flash you an innocent smile. "Do we really have to leave now? This farmer is so cute!" Daia said. "What's your name, cutie?" She added on.
"Y/N..." You answered.
Jio rolled his eyes at how meek you sounded. "We don't have time for your games, Daia. We're leaving." He continued before walking off, not so much as sparing you a single goodbye. Daia lingered in place for a while longer before blowing you a single kiss, your eyes widening as you felt your heart rate spike a little as you continued to stand there.
Shocked and embarrassed, something that wasn't washed away even when you felt the small drops of rain begin to hit your skin as you watched the two disappear into the woods.
Since arriving in this valley...days of attempting to grow crops, cutting down trees, and talking to people and feeling out of place even still. You had to admit to yourself...this encounter was the most fun you've had since being here.
. . .
And thankfully, fortunately, for you. That encounter wasn't the last one you'd have.
For the next few days, as you continued to try and figure out the issue with your parship plants. You've suddenly received random visits from that odd woman—Daia, you believed her name to be—conveniently as you worked outside, wiping the sweat from your brow as you knelt in front of your plants while she'd either stand next to you or sit on the porch nearby.
Typically, she was quiet, although even you were able to tell more or less that she was just brimming with the urge to talk. Not that you were confident enough to attempt to make the first move in conversation, each time you stole a glance at her, you could practically feel the confidence that radiated off of her! As if she were in control of this entire situation despite hardly knowing anything about you! "Are—Are you always going to be staring at me?" You grumbled just loud enough for the purple-haired woman to hear as you tossed away your small shovel, done with messing around with plants for the day.
"Can't I stare?" She practically purred. "You're rather interesting...despite being terrible with plants."
You looked off to the side with a huff. "You sure you're cut out for farming? You don't seem to have a green thumb anywhere in your body!" Daia continued to tease as you stood up, wiping your hands on the sides of your pants.
"I'm not." You admitted. "I'm just here to do what my grandfather wanted me to do before he died. Afterward—" You'd sell it.
Though saying such a thing in front of a stranger sounded harsh. It wasn't hard to figure out that there were a lot of people in this valley who had been vying for this land, and yet...here you were, you had received it for free! You would forever be grateful to your grandfather for considering you as a worthy enough grandchild for the task, but you also believed that, in his old age, he had to have been confusing you for someone else in the family. You may have hated your job at Joja, slaving away at a desk and drinking lukewarm coffee day in and day out, but at least it was familiar. Something that was hardly any stress, so long as you stuck to your routine, with farming? There was hardly any routine! Every day, it seemed, there was a new issue to be solved!
Daia eventually clicked her tongue at your silence, snapping your attention back to her. "Perhaps you should ask for help from the other farmers?" She suggested. "Community amongst farmers and all that." She hummed.
"I...I'd rather not, I wouldn't want to impede on anyone's time."
Daia rolled her eyes, as cute as you were in appearance and attitude. You lacked any sort of confidence! You looked as if you'd wilt away at any moment if someone dared to look at you for too long, something that drew her closer to you, even if it was simply because she both wanted to play around with you like a cat would a mouse as well as attempt to bring you out of your shell.
Besides...Jio was always on her back, telling her not to get too close to the locals within Ridgeside Village.
You didn't live in Ridgeside Village, so you didn't count!
"With that confidence, how are you ever going to get a girlfriend or boyfriend?" She tsked.
Your face erupted into flames. "I-I don't need a boyfriend or girlfriend!" You stammered.
"Fine, fine...at least someone to fool around with then—"
"N-Not even that either!" You interrupted, almost tempted to rush at the woman to keep her from speaking any further. Your job hardly allowed you any time to date or get to know anyone intimately; in truth, you were the perfect employee in a way. Ready to pull all-nighters and stay at the office almost until the next morning, so long as you were paid appropriately, of course. Dating was...complicated, something that wasn't a routine and was outside of the usual things you'd do. Thus, it didn't matter to you.
But, you supposed your entire life at the moment was out of the ordinary.
"I just need to get my grandfather's farm up and running! A-After that, I'll be gone. I don't need any attachments to this place!"
Well, that just wouldn't do, now would it? Your little outburst made Daia cock her head to the side for a moment, her brow rising ever so slightly as she took your words in. She supposed the rumors around Pelican Town were a little too...hopeful, regarding you, of course. They made it seem as if you were going to be a permanent new resident! Thus, when she first saw you, she didn't worry too much about moving quickly, thinking that for you, she'd be willing to take her time luring you into her grasp.
But if you were going to leave so soon after cleaning this place up...she supposed she'd have to move a little quicker.
"Attachments are what make things fun, though, right?" Daia spoke after a while as she stood up from the porch to walk over to you.
"W-What are you—"
"It doesn't need to be anything permanent~" She added on. "Maybe that's why you can't get anything to grow, you're faarrrr too stressed."
Your breath got choked up in your throat when she was standing right in front of you. Your eyes strained to keep locked onto her eyes, trying to keep your gaze from wandering to her lips...or her chest...or even further. The sound of Daia's giggle made you snap your gaze back to her eyes, your face warming up even more as you struggled to think of a reply. "I...I don't need any stress relief." You tried to say as firmly as you could.
"Really?" Her brow rose. "Then why did your eyes wander?"
"T-They didn't wander..."
Her smirk grew as she stepped forward a little more, beginning to invade your personal space as you nearly jumped out of your skin when she placed a light, gentle hand against your arm.
The smell of whatever perfume she was wearing was...exotic, in a way. Completely different from the cheap stuff you'd smell around the office, or faux-expensive stuff that company executives would wear during board meetings. The smell lingered in your nostrils, sweet and strong but not annoyingly so...it made your mouth water and your head feel as if it were beginning to rest against a soft cloud.
"C'mon...don't you wanna play around a little? Let some of that stress go, farmer?" Daia continued to tempt you, slowly guiding your hand to touch her first on her shoulder, all before slowly moving your hand to rest on her hip as she stepped even closer to you, blatantly pressing her breasts against you, as a giggle left her lips as she watched you struggle as to where your eyes should go.
"I promise you'll feel soooo good afterward~"
You quietly tightened your hand on her hip as her arms slowly looped around your neck.
"J-Just an hour..." You murmured. An hour was all you needed, nothing more and nothing less. Just enough to both sate your curiosity and get her out of your hair, that's it! Nothing more and nothing less.
