i started writing something about how when i drive i actually am the car and my flesh and blood and bones actually serve the purpose of the machine and talking about how i can feel myself dissolve and become little more than intelligent sinew that's been installed between the pedals and shifters and buttons and knobs and the wheel and that the erasure of the self then also necessitates the erasure of the other and by joining in communion with the blessed machine (a sacred act you blaspheme and dismiss because you choose to call this brush with the gods of the open road something dull and burdensome–"driving") and in joining with the machine, your hands to the wheel to the column to the axle to the mighty roaring engine–in this moment you die along with the machine and are instantly reborn anew alongside the rumble of the open throttle of a starting engine, reborn as one in an instant. you are bound perfectly one to the other (rather, you are you, without distinction). Your spirits intertwine and unify. You are in union, one perfect machine

Do you like driving?

If you're driving on a road with many lanes going in the same direction, and you want to get to the exit (farthest right lane) from several lanes away, do you change lanes one at a time (blinker, change, stop blinker, blinker, change, stop blinker) or do you put on your blinker and just go all the way across the whole road? Sorry if the wording is unclear, I tried to describe the situation the best way I could.
