6. What’s your favourite piece of dialogue you wrote this year?
I think it's probably this from the end of just like oxygen:
"You let me chase you all across the States and Canada, let me prove my devotion and worth to you. Now, will you let me catch you and be my mate?"
Because it sums up not only Jack and Connor's courtship, but really the idea behind the whole verse: someone proving they love and care about who they're courting, that they should be given a chance.
7. What’s your favourite piece of description or narration?
Well, I really like this from beginnings in death:
His cops' eyes were the shade of whiskey, brown and warm, alive with suspicion and a good deal of contempt.
