1. What was the last movie you saw? this past weekend my sister and I rented the last in the Hunger Games series (parts I & II) and watched them. I wasn't super into the movies, and never read the books, but she was & did and it was a nice reason to spend to quality sibling time (also there was delicious pizza!)

2. What was the last show you watched? I just finished binge-watching Two Guys, A Girl, and a Pizza Place - which I blame one of my friends in Oregon for; he was watching Deadpool and we got to talking about Ryan Reynolds, so...yeah, I dug it up and watched some adorable baby ryan-ness for a few days

3. What was the last song you listened to? uummmmmm, it was definitely someone who is playing at Shaky Knees this weekend, but it wasn't one I recognized? and therefore I will say Hand Clap by Fitz & The Tantrums bc I know for sure that played on my radio this morning

4. What was the last book you read?  I skipped my usual go-to travel reading when I flew last month, and re-read the mighty book of boosh and scribblings of a madcap shambleton in honor of seeing noel's show. other than that I haven't read anything new in a long time. I've got several books in a box from moving that are waiting for me to crack them open, maybe this summer by the pool...

5. What was the last thing you ate? a banana (I swear!)

6. If you could pick a decade to travel back to in time, what would it be? the 20s probably

7. If you won the lotto and millions in cash, what would be the first thing you would do? immediately pay off my student loans, and then the rest of my debt. after that, the usual - make sure mom's house & car are taken care of, secure my own place. then, put the money to work and travel on the interest - a nice trip to see the sights in London, visit family in Italy, and make my way south to Australia - there's some cool people there ;)   

8. Which fictional character would you like to hang out with for a day? kermit the frog, just because :)

9. What was the last fandom you joined? literally the only fandom I've ever joined is the boosh - and I am totally fine with that :D

10. If you could be anywhere else right now, where would you be? right now? right now I would love to be at Sauvie Island or Collins Beach - basking by the river. or, in surgery having my back stuff taken care of, that would probably make the basking even better!

First pop-culture piece that made you excited to be alive :  Star Trek!  It makes me proud of humanity’s potential.  Like how peaceful and tolerant we could be, if we all got together and tried.  

Last time you had a genuine, intense, I’m-laughing-so-hard-it-hurts giggle fit : if you keep me up past nine pm this is guaranteed to happen.  So last week when I spent the night at a friend’s and stayed up until three.  Everything is funny then.  

Why’d you name that important thing in your life the name you did? : There aren’t usually reasons behind things that I give names to, unless it’s like a nickname or something.  But my cat’s called Simon because he’s ginger and I like Simon Pegg when he’s ginger.  Such depth.  But otherwise like... my car has a name because I looked at it and thought it ‘fit’, that’s usually how I name things (her name is Evelyn btw, she is an old woman.)

Give me a story about an animal you love :  My dog is Rio and I adore him.  He likes going for walks/hikes at this one lake because there are lots of fallen trees and he likes to jump over them and run around as fast as he can. 

What thing in your closet do you wish you could wear every day : I have a lot of ridiculous jumpers but it’s usually too warm for them, so probably that.  Also I own a sequin blazer which will probably never leave the closet because what do you wear a thing like that for?

Do you have an opening line for people you want to know better? :  I do not but this is a good idea!  If it’s online I like to start by telling them how awesome they are :)

Do you have a physical location you escape to when you want to escape from the world? : Ehh I usually just go into my office.  My desk is a happy place by a window. 

When was the last time you connected with a stranger? : I met a new co-worker when she was having a panic attack and she said I really helped her, so that was great.  It was nice to not feel alone and that I could offer someone the same kind of things I use in that situation.
