Hehehe this is fun

I love doing these, hell I already draw my OCs over memes fairly often

but now MWAHAHAHAHA you’ve fallen into my trap and now that I’ve got your attention I finally have an excuse to talk about Vanesso

they are a type of slugcat called a Butterscug, which is pretty much a slugcat/butterfly hybrid, kind of how I have mothscugs. Oh and they’re also all vampires and part of a cult

the butterscugs as a subspecies were actually created by a buncha friends and me because one day we were talking about moths and how they’re better than butterflies in every way and we thought oh how cool it would be to have a villain group of butterfly scugs that were antagonists to the mothscugs THEN we learnt that butterflies actually tend to drink blood so then we said “what if we make them vampires????” and thus, we all brainstormed and everyone made our own Butterscug OCs and that’s when vansesso was invented

and I love them

The butterscugs are naturally deceptive and will often not show their true intentions (unless it’s towards a mothscug)

so uh yeah this all lead to them rizzing up a random winged slugcat called moondown who is in fact the teal scug in the corner, and now you finally know the context of the drawing!

oh also she’s a charater that’s belongs to @bigsismoon (REALLY HOPE IM PINGING THAT RIGHT)

so did I just use this whole prompt as an excuse to lore dump you with butterscugs? Yes and I’ll do it again
