A Dragon's kingship
Here is Draco, fabled destroyer dragon, dragon-partner to the hero Macbeth, and the self-declared long lost king of Astravia.
Why the long lost king of Astravia?
Simple. During the frozen-hero era, Draco overheard some people talking about the southern kingdom of Astravia and misheard King Drago as King Draco. Being the imaginative and self centered pain in the ass that everyone has grown to love, they concluded that they were the one being talked about. Of course, since they aren't in Astravia, they must be a lost king. Obviously the logistics of this scenerio doesn't add up and King Drago has been the, admitedly disputed, ruler of Astravia for the last 20 odd years.
It doesn't even matter that if shown a map of the world, Draco would be unable to find Astravia. All Draco cares about is that they heard King Draco. Everything after that is an attempt to keep a King away from their throne.
Thankfully they have decided to not reclaim their throne until their graciously accepted hero duties are over. Not because Macbeth bribed them with the hat, cloak, and a promise that he'll buy a suit of Astravian armour to wear in battle, in exchange for Draco not attempting to run away, again. Nor is it because Draco gets very lonely without their favourite humans (and Meren) around.
