#down day

I just wanted to say that today I was reminded that what you see isn’t always the truth. Today was hard for me, as I’m sure it was for many others and all for different reasons.

Know you’re not alone and tomorrow is a new day. Put all the negative stuff behind you and look towards the sun.

Ever since Star and Jackie had gotten closer, they started talking more often. Even if it was as friends, they still traded numbers and kept in contact. It was pretty rare for them to not talk at least once a day, even if it was just a simple hello.

But the day before, Jackie mentioned he was gonna probably going to be busy for the day. He said he had some investigating to do and, while he wasn't lying, this wasn't just another case. This was something much more personal to him.

He read over the documents he had found at his parents house and tried to upload what he got get off their computer onto his own. And while what he read helped him discover some things, it seriously damaged his view of himself.

And so the day came and went, Jackie managing to clean up and put away what he was working on before hiding in bed in the biggest hoodie he had. The next day arrived and he was in the same state, ignoring the buzzing of his phone and remaining curled up in bed, just wanting to hide from the world.
