Dormified apple crisp? What? Yes, you heard right. I picked myself up a delicious gala apple from the food stand today and decided to make this heart-warming treat after a long trek in the cold (wearing a skirt might I add- I know, I was not properly dressed). After making it back to Bursley, goosebumps and all, I definitely needed something to bring the warmth back to my toes! You can do this too in just a few simple steps
1. Cut your apple into slices (a bread knife can do wonders, I swear), and place in a microwavable bowl, sprinkling some cinnamon on top.
2. Microwave for about 3 minutes, until the apples are relatively soft. Using a spoon, chop up the apples and stir it up a little.
3. Cover with your favorite crunchy granola and put it back in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
4. Finally add any additional toppings that you please (I added pecans and unsweetened coconut).
And there ya have it, a quick and simple way to make apple crisp in your dorm room! Enjoy!
