pizzacraft & everyday good vibe herbs
the more i think about it the more i’m excited about italian seasoning, it’s like a pre-ground, pre-mixed set of herbs for attracting good things into your life.
basil- business protection, happiness, love/marriage/money spells, peace, protection. associated with scorpio & fire
marjoram- happiness, health, love, money, protection associated with libra, gemini, virgo & air.
oregano- courage, happiness, moving on/letting go, luck, protection. associated with taurus & air
rosemary- protection from jealousy/gossip, homes blessing, purification. associated with fire, air & leo
thyme- beauty, courage, happiness, healing, protection, restoration, victory spells, cleansing. associated with water, air & cancer
sage- cleansing, purifying, wisdom, good luck. associated with earth, air
think of all the applications for this easy to find seasoning! i know next time i make a pizza i will slow down a little and enchant it to bring good fortune to all those who share the meal with me. i will also take into consideration the cast iron skillet i use and think of the associations with power and protection. i may also grind it down and see how it fares as incense.
there’s magic in everything ✨
there are times where i feel like i HAVE to have the thing but if we just take a second and look around we may already have some of the things we need. as i get ready for mabon instead of harvesting food (i moved so much these past few years i haven’t yet been able to establish a garden) i’m going to take stock of our kitchen and see what tools we already have on hand so i’m only buying what i really need.
this will be good time for some cleaning, self reflection, and a chance to be a little more sustainable since we won’t be over consuming.
also there’s a bulk store in my city and i’m BEYOND excited to shop there more!
supporting local businesses is something very important to me and i’m really grateful that i live in a place that makes it really easy to do.
i know sometimes the magick is in the physical act of grinding or growing or whatever part of the process is important to you but don’t feel bad for using what’s available to you.
as i go through this process i’m be making a list of correspondences of things you may already have in your kitchen
