"Why are you so kind, when we both know you'll betray me?"

And here is a self insert character I have put way to much thought into considering his main purpose is to die. He is a Blue Lantern that ends up in the Invincible universe (the show, not the comic) about six years before canon. He establishes himself as a hero, acquires various tech to compensate for his lack of constructs (armor, power gauntlets, guns, etc.), and eventually goes on to join the Guardians of the Globe. He ends up married to the Green Ghost (Alana) and has a daughter with her (Eden) and is overall having the best time of his life.

Then Orange Lantern (one of my other SI's) comes to conquer his universe. Blue detects the Orange energy with his ring and goes to warn the Guardians. Unfortunately, when he gets to their base he runs into Omni Man who kills him and the rest of the Guardians.

When Orange realizes what universe he's in (because the SI's only forget the media they first end up in) he reveals what Omni Man did at the Guardians' funeral, turns him into a construct and then takes over with virtually no opposition. He even takes in Blue's daughter Eden as his niece.
