*Every time there's a 'Safehouse Social', Bain gets an invite.
*Everyone knows he'll say no, or promise he'll think about it & then never show, but the Payday gang make sure he's been invited by at least someone.
*Bain knows he will never get to attend any of these things, but the invites never fail to touch him. He's not the David Brent-type boss who gets an invite out of politeness when secretly no one wants him there - the guy's genuinely interesting & his presence is definitely wanted.
*The invites get gradually more & more creative. What started as simple phonecalls end up as a competition to see who can out-do who.
*Dallas once wrote a poem: "Roses are red, Violets are Blue, We're having a party, & you can come too." He then spends at least 6 minutes arguing with Bain about how to properly write rhyming poetry, ending with Dallas getting pissed because Duke sides with Bain & tells him it's one of the worst things he's ever heard.
*Another time the gang send along a photo of bullets, first aid kids & tools arranged to spell out the words 'Come to our party :)' Bain sends one back saying 'Can't make it :(' with coffee mugs & vaping cartridges.
*Sydney records her own. fucking. song. The lyrics are the date & time of the party.
*For Halloween, Wolf goes for a straight-up, old-school phonecall, but tells Bain he can only come if he dresses as Nurse Bain. Chains then snatches the phone: "Nah man, Bain already agreed he'd come, but he can only come dressed as a pickle".
*It actually gets a bit much because… even though Bain chose to create a criminal empire with himself at the helm, he realises the Payday gang are the closest thing he has to real friends anymore… but he can never accept the invites & he knows he can't.
Fixed up my Enforcers a little since I've been nominated as Arbitrator for the local Necromunda campaign. Not perfect but considering how bad they were before I'll take what I can get.
