And the more we can receive, the more compassion we can generate for one another. Imagine trying to exhale without ever taking an inhale. Imagine the heart trying to pump oxygenated blood out to the periphery of the body of the blood was never returned. It’s impossible. The heart needs energetic exchange. And we truely cannot receive, we can’t let it in until the heart has been broken so many times that it cracks open.
