New month, new perspective. Last month was all about "new experiences". And while I will still be continuing to get in as many new experiences as possible, February will be focused on finding the moments of peace that keep me coming back for more! I recognized it yesterday as I was finishing my evening hike. We were up on the top of the ridgeline, the cool breeze was blowing against my face and I couldn't help but feel a huge rush of joy followed by a feeling of "why don't I do this more often?" It was a perfect evening to just stand there and watch the sunset (swipe to the end to see a photo that doesn't do it justice). So with that, today we went off into the park and added a loop we don't normally do, I went around and revisited memories of my past and took a moment to soak in why those redwood stumps are so magical. My childhood was spent climbing on them, playing in them, building forts in them, and today we went back to them! Here's to tomorrow and another moment of Joy.
