Confession time: I don't care much for Ghostknife. Which is so surprising to me because it hits all the things that usually make me ship characters. The whole "I see you" thing is right up my alley, Vyncent watching William lose himself is something I'd absolutely write for other pairings. William spends so much time helping Vyncent learn the world he ended up in. They literally spend 10 months just the two of them while Dakota is figuring himself out. Vyncent promises to protect him and he still runs and then dies again. They have chemistry.
But here's the thing, I watched UPP before I Watched PD. Which means I was exposed to Dogbones (Norah x William) first and they are also right up my alley. Because he takes her into dangerous situations and she trusts him to do it. She matches his weirdness with her own, she practices her flute at his house, when her parents are working overnight she stays the night at his place. He watches/stops her from killing herself something he later in PD also tries to do. He was her first friend, he encourages her to do the things she wants to do not what her parents want her too. He promises to always be her friend, and then he leaves not because he wants to but because he feels like he has to.
They are both such good ships and I honestly think if I watched PD before I watched UPP I probably would be obsessed with Ghostknife. But I didn't and Dogbones stole the spot in my brain before Ghostknife ever had a chance.
