Hey Wiwi fun fact- did you know in Japanese folklore saying Moshi Moshi isn’t just a greeting, it’s also how they would determine if someone was a kitsune or spirit in disguise! Apparently some yokai have trouble making or repeating the sound so that’s how they’d know if the person they were speaking to was an evil shapeshifter! :3

William’s vision goes black— or. It does in his nightmare. He wakes up in his room. At least he thinks he woke up. He’s moved from his original position, he’s staring at the ceiling, panting. And he just… can’t move yet. He feels… things that aren’t there, he can feel as something, tendrils perhaps break in through the window? Under his bed? Who knows.
He can’t turn his head to check. Stuck— unable to move. He tries to clench his fingers— one hand won’t move for some reason. Thanks Ellane, for biting his fingers. The other one very slowly clenches. So he repeats.
He does that until he can move and he sits up instantly. Grabbing his shirt with his freehand. His breathing is wrong— too fast, too sharp. He’s barely getting any air in.
He glances towards Ellane. It’s still dark in his room. So immediately his head goes to the worst place, are they dead? They are red— they are bleeding. They are dead- dead. Dead. He grabs them— taking his fingers away from their mouth and frantically starts shaking them.
ELLANE!
He screams, in the middle of the night. He’s anxious— worried and not doing well. Can you blame him?
