A thing I’d really really love to see in pd3 is an arc where William goes through an identity crisis . I mean, he only became a Real Wisperer after Clarence faded(???) into him (which is also soooo insane. It’s clearly not the same thing as with Kemuri, since William and Clarence have to share a soul for the whole reincarnation thing, but it’s clearly not as simple as just two peas in one pod), so is William really deserving of that? It took him hundreds of tries to beat Kemuri, he Lost the Wisps, he did such a good job at messing everything up that every spirit he spoke to during the training arc looked at him like he was nuts!! Alongside that, I think it would be super duper fascinating if William in s3 maybe struggled with a little bit of learnt helplessness. He tried to fight fate and be alive again, he got a new heart!!! He lost the damn wisps!!!!!!! It’s like everything he ever wanted didn’t matter. His old life doesn’t matter, his parents words of encouragement don’t matter, and nothing he does in regards to the spirit world seems to really matter Unless it’s him doing what’s expected of him!!!!!! I just think it would be very interesting if all of that did some damage….

Contemplating the idea of 12 year old William Wisp sneaking into the bathroom to try and do Emo eyeliner for the first time in his life at like. Midnight. And he fucks it up crazy bad and is panicking because it isn’t rubbing off . And accidentally makes a bunch of noise and wakes his mom up . And when she walks in he’s Genuinely Worried because well……. They’ve never really Talked about stuff like this . William knows his mom is very religious and cares a Lot about manners and politeness and is so so So worried about the worst possible scenario . But his mom just helps him wash off the make up and teaches him how to put it on right and when she looks at William and sees how worried he is , she tells him that she loves him as he is . This is real and true and canon to me . And also William cries and ruins the eyeliner his mom Just Helped Him Put On

PD Headcanon that Deltarune came out post William death … Headcanon that William and Norah used to have insanely serious debates about Undertale theories and Especially Gaster and Chara … Headcanon that they both cried when they finished DR chapter one and heard Don’t Forget for the first time … Headcanon that Norah covered it on her niche YouTube channel and it blew up because she played it so insanely sadly … Norah buys the Spamton plushie William buys the Tenna plushie … William really likes Noelle and Norah really likes Kris but don’t realize why for a really good while …. This is my truth #mytruth

I'm definitely not the biggest ghostknifer out there but if i think about it as a weird mirror image to dogbones (will/norah) I start getting it Super Duper Bad. I'm one of the Many William Guys of tumblr but do not for a Second think i do not love Vyncent also ... Something soooo fun about Vyncent and Norah (despite feeling like very different people and being distinct characters etc etc) both finding a similar sort of guidance in William . Vyncent is from an entirely other world and Norah is a lonely, isolated goody two shoes, but William Still acts as a sort of catalyst for some of their most complicated feelings... Norah I'm Worth The Cost Song (dies dies dies di) and Vyncent with Grayscale . Rambling now but Grayscale arc William, to me , feels like the most UPP-like PD William ever gets. Because he's lacking the wisps or the guidance of Dakota, he acts desperately and out of fear . and theres something So Interesting of a Parallel (that i made up in my mind) of Vyncent leaving William to deal with Grayscale alone BUT later choosing to never ever leave him like that again VS William and Norah becoming friends, William dragging her into the horrors, and then leaving her behind in wanting to protect her . does this make sense

Horrible cruel ironic reality where all of upp always feel a slight sense of dread whenever William starts leading them ahead only for it to be William who dies in the end . Worth the cost being a song all about how Norah isn’t sure of where they stand and what she means to Will, Isaac constantly getting into trouble with his parents because of Williams stupid shenanigans and Lui, who despite having been put in the least amount of danger By William, might have never gotten controlled by Mr Abraham if William hadn’t snuck off into that basement . All these fears and complicated feelings boiling between all of them and then one day William just disappears . And all these things they never spoke about are just . There. Forever. Because William is never coming back and they’ll never get the chance to sit down and actually talk . Dies

Post based purely on my own headcanons but one lense I like to look at William and Cantrip through is gender envy. Cantrip, in some ways, is basically a cooler, better William. She’s just as witty and smart as he is, but doesn’t struggle with self esteem or having the charisma of a Wet Noodle. William Does canonically compare himself to her, and Does bluntly state that she makes him feel Really Insecure . So I don’t think it’s That Much of a stretch to imagine that he could also be mentally comparing himself to her in a Trans Way Too….
