FNV Minor Character Poll - Preliminary Voting Round 3-B: Doctor Draft
Top left: Ada Strauss, traveling "doctor" in Novac. —"Jesus, I don't think that's supposed to just dangle like that. And what the hell is that thing there? It's gonna be expensive. Try not to speak. Just nod yes or no."
Top middle: Alex Richards, NCR medic at Camp Forlorn Hope. —"There's my little buttercup. What can I do for you?"
Top right: Bert Gunnarsson, ghoulified missionary at Aerotech Office Park. —"Some find honest labor, but more fritter away what little they've saved on crooked gambling and cheap liquor. Still, I minister to them as I can."
Bottom left: Doc Sawbones, NCR medic at Camp Golf. —"All right, just hold steady. Want a shot of whiskey to calm your nerves? Mind if I have one? Heh heh, little doctor humor there."
Bottom right: Doctor Usanagi, Followers surgeon at New Vegas Medical Clinic. —"Everything you see is funded by the Followers of the Apocalypse. We rely a lot on charity to provide low-cost medical services to the less fortunate."

Playing a kenku in D&D who can only mimic phrases he's heard leads to some fantastic interactions.

It is time... for the boy...
My D&D group is playing Curse of Strahd, which is very raven-heavy, and we just realized at the end of our last session that as a kenku plague doctor thief I can talk to birds. This is about to get extra interesting.
DM: a raven caws and lands in front of you. It looks at Sawbones [me, a kenku plague doctor] and just sort of tilts its head.
Me: I tilt my head back and mimic its caw.
Half-Orc: Do you know this bird?
Me: I'm not going to dignify that with a response
DM: Sawbones gives [the half-orc] an incredibly offended look
