So, I got back to playing Baldur's Gate 3 and finally finished all of the act one (all side quests, I couldn't not do it), so now you get to see updates on what I was up to
The most Important thing is that i transed my Tav's gender
M'ikara was nonbinary female presenting, but after act 1 I decided to make them lean full male. They also got a bit of a tan from being in the sun, and their hair is more, um, crazy now. No one expects you to have nice, well-kept hair when you're sleeping in a forest and ruins. Also changed the face shape, head is from a mod (the hair too). Also added barovian earrings, because I'm excited for curse of Strahd campaign mod for BG3, and since the earrings have Barovia in the name I couldn't pass that up. (More comparison pictures at the end of post)
Now that I think about it, my boy being trans and not liking the drow ways makes a lot of sense (who knows drow lore then knows lol)
Okay. So shenanigans I got up to. (Excuse the f*ked up character icons, Idk what's up with them)
Karlach might not be a demon, but she sure looks like she's possessed by one. Straight up, the first thing I've seen when I load up the game. I had to make a double take. Floating heads hunt me
Then I was trying to buy some stuff from the woman that wanted the githyanki egg (took her money, kept the egg for myself lol). But I didn't have enough gold and items for the trade, and eventually I got pissed off, so I made Astarion steal everything.
(He was Invisible, but the spell broke) Astarion was rolling high numbers, so she didn't know that I stole half of the stuff lol. Astarion has some OP mod armour, so you know, he has too many bonuses. But I don't consider it cheating because I bought it with gold for him, so it stays ON. Then she finally felt that something was sus, but I told her to her face it wasn't us, and she ate that up xD
Then I finally went to the Underdark and started doing quests. And I also found the fish people.
I heard that they're supposed to be like, easy to miss? But I like, found them right away after going through Selune's temple.
I may have perhaps been over-leveled for Underdark, or I'm just too good at the game (even tho I just do random stuff and hope it works), because I was mowing through the enemies. Idk how, because I was getting my ass kicked on the surface, so much I had to turn difficulty down. I almost felt bad for the enemies bro. I also destroyed some magical bark from some quest? Idk what it was for, but I didn't feel like reloading. Hopefully it won't come to bite me in the ahh-
Oh, I almost forgot. I also made Shadowheart eat a mushroom. She wasn't happy, but If I say eat mushroom she eats it, I don't care if you approve or not girlie, you are in a cult. Also, the mushroom glitched out, so I could also give it to the mushroom collectors. I count that as a win
Here's some Shar temple silliness. I cracked up at the fact you can just chill with a skeleton bro, like how did they die in the perfect pose Xd Also damn, I know you want me Astarion, but you don't have to stand on a metal bed when I'm laying on it
Ehem, yeah, so I said combat went easy for me, right? That's true, until I went to the forge. The mfer that came out of the lava pipe, as it turns out, Is immune to ALL TYPE OF DAMAGE. I didn't even know that before I already died to it once. The whiplash I got from suddenly getting clocked after I was doing okay in battle had me shook. Like, who could've known It was only immune when it stood in the lava, and only to one type of damage? Anyway, I put my girls down ready to jump the robot as soon as it spawned, and me and my man threw random stuff at it. Needless to say, it shattered like a dropped lego set.
Next up, I picked up this amulet with a laughing man inside. As you can kinda see, the chain/rope string stuff was frozen stiff for some reason. I don't think It's supposed to be like that, but oh well, that happened.
And finally... FINALLY, we jump to act two. Here's M'ikara sitting on the vampire boyfriend's and world's favourite princess's chairs (after the transing of the gender):
(they're still in a girl body because I idk how to change it, but honestly, M'ikara can be a twink if they want, doesn't bother me, and he's my character after all)
I'm really digging M'ikara's new look. Perfect for the shadow lands. Kinda punk
Also, the dream guardian seems... really excited to see our new form too... (put them nips away gurl, please BEGONE THOT)

I love this game. My play through is ought to be one of the funniest experiences in my life. Banger game 👍
