I still find it wild that The Great Comet, a musical over 2 hours long is based off of only 70 pages from War and Peace. What the actual hell.

The actual book is nearly 1,300 pages and with only 70 they made a musical.

I saw some Bloody Mary swap aus which basically throw Grace onto the sub, and then put Simon with Ellie in Space. And I gotta propose that if we’re making Rocky monster in the dark so to say, maybe instead of a moon of blood it’s just a huge cavern system(?) With Grace forcibly sent with LiDAR tech to explore it because they received transmissions from it including human voices.

I think with Rocky as the ginormous horror with the calcified bodies clinging to it, the horror would be similar to Voidness.

Ps. Grace is still welded into a vehicle though don’t get me wrong. And his version of the story would probably still follow most of the Iron Lung plot. Just I think a change in setting to match the change in monster would be more interesting. Maybe the infectious thing could be spores or parasitic crystalline structures.
