My understanding is that it does light damage in the Devil May Cry games, but I don't know how that would translate to the Vergil build I'm about to start on Monday on Twitch in Elden Ring and I'm torn between these two options. I'll be using The Dryleaf Arts/Dane's Footwork (the same thing but with more kicks I instead of punches) as my stand in for Beowulf due to its similar move set.

My reasoning for lighting damage is just the way that it looks when you attack and my reasoning for holy damage is that light and holy seem to be synonymous with one another. What do you think?
