I think Disjoint is the best example of “shitty power that turns out to be really useful” in the entire series.
And I don’t mean that he’s secretly overpowered. He’s not. A normal person could probably kick his ass.
But he’s so damn useful.
The ability to just teleport your eyes and ears wherever you want to spy on someone?
Fucking up someone’s aim or vision by teleporting your hands onto their weapon or face?
Grabbing your phone charger and teleporting it back to your arm instead of getting up to get it?
So damn useful.
