                                    ARMOURY INC. THE CORPORATION.

The Arms Dealer. “They tell you war is about patriotism, or some shit about the other guy hating our freedom. But you wanna know what I see? Not a kid doing his patriotic duty to defend his country. I see a helmet, fire-retardant gloves, body armor and an M16. I see seventeen thousand dollars.”

The Protege. “If there is a light, then I am going to swallow it. If there is a god, then I’m going to make him cry.”

The Handler. “Never believe the problem is dead until you see a body. That just leads to unhappiness and surprises ambushes.”

The Firewaller. “Have a little faith, and if that doesn’t work, have a lot of mimosas.”

I’ll be writing Filipp Sokolov, who can’t wear a tracksuit without people thinking he huffs gasoline.

Also an MI6 agent on the side, but mostly he’s a driver for the Russian mob.

Not paid enough to deal with how guilty he feels when the mob boss invites him to Christmas dinner and puts a present for him under the tree.

Is actually paid to report into a boss who thinks he’s going over to the dark side. Company retreats are super awkward.

His favourite band is Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Speaks like he’s from north Russia, even though he was born and brought up in England. Pure method acting and also from leaning on some CIs.

Buy him more strawberry-topped waffles pls. It’s hard work driving around tracksuit-wearing people yelling about football.

not quite retired from the criminal world, but close enough to say she is.  

the world outside is far more dangerous than the world in here, where the rules can protect you, and perhaps she’s found the rules in here to be a crutch, something she can depend on to keep her and her family safe. 

does her best to keep her nose out of other people’s business, but when people talk, she’s sure to keep her ears perked up.  

if asked how the hotel started, you’ll get a different answer every time. she married into it, she took over for a friend, it was a drunken idea, it isn’t important how they started, what’s important is the rules, and if you follow them.  

it’s a lot easier to fall into trouble than it is to get out of it.
