The parasaurolophus is a 10 meter tall hadrosaurid ornithopod. It has a large crest on its head and due to this crest scientists were able to confirm a mating call sound. The parasaurolophus is the only dinosaur that has a confirmed mating call. It is both a pack animal and a herbivore. It is both bipedal and quadrupedal meaning it could walk on two or four legs. It lived around 80-70 million years ago in the cretaceous period. It was originally found in Canada but has been found in North America and Asia as well. They not only lived with their own species but other herbivores as well.
