Digg Google Reader Alternatifi RSS Okuyucusunu Tanıttı

Digg Reader is shutting down. This is the closest Iâve found to my beloved and defunct Google Reader, though I guess RSS readers are becoming a thing of the past. If you need to reference a lot of different sources, a good online reader that you can access from anywhere is indispensable, plus theyâre good for visually impaired people or people using older machines/OS (most of them have a cleaner interface than blogs or websites festooned with ads).
(PS - I also use a feed reader to covertly read Tumblrs Iâd never subscribe to like, *cough* a feminist âgossipâ site that shall remain nameless.)

In Case You Live Under A Rock: Google Reader Dies Tomorrow
As I am sure most of you know, Google Reader âsunsets*â tomorrow, July 1, 2013. Just in case you havenât been paying attention, or are in complete denial Iâve listed below new-to-you-readers to check out before tomorrow.

How Digg Reader Popular Algorithm works
From the Digg support site.
When you click on Popular, we take your 1,000 most recent items, and rank them by popularity on the Internet. This is a way to sort your recent recent items to see what's getting the most buzz and attention at the moment.
We show Digg Reader's "popularity" ranking on a scale from 1-3 red dots, with 3 being the most popular. To see how this works, click on Popular, and then choose the List view. You'll see your 1,000 most recent items ranked from most to least currently popular out on the Internet.
We use a set of available social signals to make our calculation of "popularity", using social sharing actions as an estimation of overall popularity. As we get more users and more data, we're going to keep refining and improving our algorithms. (We're also going to be rolling out a number of new and useful ways to rank and sort the posts and stories in your feeds.)
If you see fewer than 1,000 items when you click Popular, it simply means that the missing items are not getting shared much, so our algorithms are not able to score them. As you keep using Digg Reader, that issue should disappear fairly soon.
Emphasis on:
"We use a set of available social signals to make our calculation of "popularity", using social sharing actions as an estimation of overall popularity."
They wrote this in June 2013, I wonder if things have changed. The "Digg Deeper" section, baed off your Twitter social graph is new. But is it used to inform Popular?
