and he got the tattoo to hide the reminder of that because it was in front of him every time he was passing a reflective surface? and also he could feel the anger and sadness coming from his brothers because while they all have scars, physical and mental, most of them are hidden under punk jackets and torn up jeans, but this one, this one was in plain view and long hair wasn’t enough anymore.

Hell yeah he does! In the hug category, pretty much all of them benefit from long, tight, squishy hugs bc it shows them a comfort they never got in their childhoods at Blackwing. Rowdies are cuddlers so their usually mimic that. Beast and Vogel both like being held in a lap when they’re upset, knowing that someone is there for them and supporting them. Cross and Martin both prefer to be standing, but will hug for as long as you’ll let them. At first, Amanda shied away from hugs because sometimes physical contact would trigger her attacks. But as she grew closer to the Rowdies and learned more about herself and her attacks, she’s always down for big squishy hugs to remind herself that this is real and these people are here for her, they’re her family. Also, I feel like Rowdies are big on group hugs? Like if they see two of them hugging they all just kinda pile on top! Gripps also knows that Amanda likes when he does her nails when she’s stressed, Vogel likes wrestling and/or dancing bc he’s got so much energy, Cross likes when people gently play with his hair (if it’s too knotty that idea has to be abandoned bc when he’s stressed out, tugging on his hair reminds him of Blackwing), Martin is usually down for a smoking buddy or at least to just sit in silence together bc it’s good for him to know that someone is there and he’s not alone, and Beast loves exploring and finding colorful things to play with and give to people.
