In the course of a random Star Wars discussion, I ended up saying "Palpatine has always been less of a Sith and more of a chihuahua on a power trip" and it got me thinking. What would the other Sith be like as dogs, or pets in general? Because I can't imagine Asajj being that one cat that acts disinterested and smacks if if you try and pet it, but then you wake up with it calmly snoozing on your chest.
a chIUHAHA ON A POWER TRIP---
vader: a huge black depressed pointer. his days of high energy and play are beyond him, but he still does well in sporting competitions despite his disabilities. not overtly affectionate, but he's always near his owner. you never know when certain chihuahuas will show up.
sidious: the reason chihuahuas get a bad rap. a prissy, oversized rat of a dog with a penchant for luxurious clothing and manipulating his owner for treats. surprisingly calm for his breed most of the time.. until heās not.Ā
maul: thereās this tortoiseshell barn cat that hangs around your house, but every time you approach it it hisses at you. you have seen it sprinting from various other neighborhood cats with kittens it seems to haveĀ āadoptedā.
savage: another tortoiseshell cat, this one twice the damn size of the other one. it almost always accompanies the other crazy barn cat, but this one is a little less hateful towards you. heāll even approach if you have food in hand.
asajj: a beautiful grey cat that, as mentioned above, is basically a mega tsundere-- even for a cat. escapes in the middle of the night to gather with other grey she-cats, hunting mice and screaming at the moon.Ā
dooku: an old, yet graceful andalusian horse with a very good temperament. except if his shoes/saddle are dirty. or made of cheap materials. force help you and your soon-to-be-stomped face if you donāt give this horse the respect he demands.
kylo: this dog seems to be very similar to that black pointer.. except he is very high energy. high energy in that he will eat your goddamn couch if he is upset/bored. at least he makes a very loyal guard dog??
nihilus: like most red-kneed tarantulas, he is very docile. rarely bites, doesnāt scare too easily, or anything like that. if it werenāt for the fact that he eats everything a spider shouldnāt be able to, heād be a perfectly normal one.
grievous: a blue-tongued skink with a penchant for VIOLENCE.Ā ādocile and gentle petā? think again. while heās perfectly tame near his beloved owner and other skink friends, he will show off his Chomping powers at everyone else.
inquisitor: this beautiful kenyan sand boa loves exploring, especially in sandboxes (much to the horror of dog!vader). he acts aloof at first, even biting your fingers if you pick him up and donāt let him slither about--but eventually he warms up to you and loves being handled.
lana: green-cheeked conures are usually a bit mischievous, but this little bird seems to be lacking in that category. still.. she seems to be a bit too smart sometimes. will dive-bomb other pets that are acting up near her.
