Started the game back in March. When I struggled with many things I would prefer to not mention. This game has helped me with forgetting things I really should be forgetting and it got me through these terrible months. Few days ago I finished it. While I am upset that it ended, I am glad that I found this game and it will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Ok this going to be a different post than normal but am here going to talk about an underrated game that I love so much and wish it was apart of the game rewards and doesn’t get enough attention and that game is Abiotic Factor by the developers of Deep Field Games. Warning very minimal spoilers but it’s just what the game is. This is rant ish but I have 100% achievements and over 200 hours in the game.
Abiotic Factor is a survival game where you are a scientist on their first day and something goes VERY wrong. That is all the story am going to spoil cause you just gotta experience it yourself. But like any survival game there is hunger, thirst,sleep, temp but also poop. Yes pooping is something you gotta worry about. sleep and pooping have a small mini game too.
You can choose positive and negative traits in the beginning and then lv up your skills to earn perks, the skills are sprinting, strength, throwing, stealth, blunt melee, sharp melee, accuracy, reloading, fortitude (health), crafting, construction, first aid, cooking, agriculture and fishing. And each of these skills has perks littered about upon leveling them up they go to lv 20.
The graphics are very similar to half life and that may throw a lot of people away cause they want realistic,but if that doesn’t then you’re getting a wonderful game. It’s a huge game for $35 or 30 can’t remember. making my first play through 120 hours that am about to past with my most recent play through. There are so many areas to this game that at multiple points you would think oh it’s going to end but then a new area gets unlock. And there are so many unique weapons and creatures and armors and it’s multi player too with proximity chat and it can be hilarious at points but also fun single player too.
don’t get me started on the updates each update is free while there are some pay portal worlds but those are just cosmetic but they are pretty cheap too even though you might frown their upcoming update is going to have a paid dlc but even though their is no price released as of now we trust deep field that it’s going to be packed full of experiences like the base game is.
