Sans: if he had feelings for bestie, his eyelights will shrink and he’ll freeze up before shyly melting into the kiss. Friend almost pulls away in dismay at how long it took for sans to relax. Afterwards he just kinda gives his friend this sort of dumb look before stuttering out an offer to go on a date lmao. He’s not usually this awkward, they just caught him by surprise.

If he didn’t like friend that way, he just stays stiff until they pull away. Then he makes some pun about kissing and never brings it up again. Friend will have to ask him out or try again for sans to actually address this.

Papyrus: if he likes his bestie, he swings his arm around their shoulders practically mashing his mouth back into theirs. It’s a clumsy kiss, all enthusiasm no technique. But damn is it satisfying. He’s all mortified afterwards too. “NO NO NO- I WAS SUPPOSED TO ASK YOU OUT FIRST! YOU SCANDALOUS SEDUCTRESS YOU-“

If he doesn’t like bestie, he sweats nervously as he blocks the kiss with his hand. “I UNDERSTAND YOU MIGHT HAVE BEEN Overwhelmed BY MY GREATNESS, BUT I CANNOT RETURN THAT ADORATION I FEAR”

Star: in both situations, liking friend romantically or not, Star will kiss back passionately. In the romantic case, as soon as bestie stops for a breath of air, Star is giggling and asking if he should take them out for dinner first. Then he nervously admits he has feelings for his friend.

In the platonic scenario, Star stops the kiss first to playfully ask what brought it on. He’s had a few fwb proposition him this way so he thinks this is the same type of scenario.

Honey: if he likes friend, honey gasps into the kiss in surprise allowing friend to deepen it. They pull a few cute noises from him before finally giving him a moment to catch his breath. He’s all flushed and flustered by the end. He’ll try running away if his buddy doesn’t say something soon.

Without any romantic feelings honey is way more casual about the affection. Friend manages to plant a quick smack on his closed teeth. Honey purrs and gives them a brief hug saying that was nice. The confession totally flew over his head.

Red: if he loves friend back he’s DESPERATE. Red kisses them back almost furiously. Hands are wandering, someone gets pinned against the wall, and he isn’t stopping. It’s not until red and his bestie are panting together all snuggled up somewhere that he finally realizes what just happened lol. At this point the secret is out and red actually confesses his feelings

If he doesn’t like friend that way, red will push them off and tell them to “f*ck off, m’ not that easy” with a rather aggressive grin. He won’t bring it up again if they don’t.

Edge: if he has feelings for friend, edge gently pushes them off but stops their panicking by kissing their forehead instead. “PLEASE, LET ME DO THIS RIGHT. I WANT OUR FIRST KISS TO BE AFTER THE DATE DEAR~”. He’s a little annoyed that bestie confessed before he could, but his happiness at having his feelings returned definitely eases that.

If he doesn’t like friend that way, edge freezes and just kinda lets the kiss happen. He coughs awkwardly afterwards and is all “…. LETS PRETEND THAT NEVER HAPPENED- ANYWAYS!”

Mal: also in both scenarios mal will kiss back roughly. For a friend he likes romantically, he stops them first and looks them in the eye seriously. Mal will straight up tell them he likes friend and doesn’t want to do this if they’re just after a random romp.

If he doesn’t care for friend, after some kissing and nibbling, if his buddy tries to take it further he’ll teasingly say this better be worth his time~ he will bully you later if you don’t impress him. He’s obviously not taking the situation seriously.

Cash: if he likes his friend, he starts laughing after the kiss from sheer relief. When he finally calms down, or if friend gets mad, he hastily admits that he’s just really happy they like him back lol. Also he would like a second kiss please and thank you

If cash doesn’t like friend, he grabs them by the shoulders to hold them away. Cash then softly tells them that he isn’t interested. He’s trying to be gentle about letting buddy down. He really hopes this won’t hurt their friendship

Oak: if he likes friend romantically, this will be the first time he’s realized it. Oak is all “huh” after the kiss prompting his bestie to ask him what that reaction was for. “Sorry buns, I jus’ realized I love ya’.” Adorable. And of course he’s leaning in for a second kiss.

If oak only loves his bestie platonically, he still leans into the kiss, but he tilts his head expecting it to be for his cheek. He’ll kiss his friend back on the cheek and ask what they want to get for lunch. They’ll have to say out loud what their intentions were if they want more of a reaction than that.

Willow: in both scenarios he jerks back in a panic. For a bestie he likes, willow frantically apologizes saying he was just surprised. Then he shyly asks if they really were trying to kiss him. They actually like him..? Willow didn’t think this would ever happen. He’s so flustered right now.

Holy sh*t anon. You really know how to pick them.

Wine: he stops and just stares at SO blankly for an uncomfortable amount of time. When wine finally speaks, he just states “FOR YOUR SAKE, THAT BETTER HAVE BEEN A JOKE” before leaving the room. SO has a LOT of groveling to do. Also coffee won’t go anywhere near them until they either make up with wine or they break up.

Mal: to his credit, he thought SO had seen cash out of the corner of their eye, so mal stops kissing to look over and yell at his brother to get out (mal you’re getting busy on the living room couch again this is your fault.). If cash is in the house, SO is safe. If not, mal is gonna be very pissy asking them what the hell that was about.

Cash: he abruptly stops kissing to push SO away. Cash has the most pained and angry look on his face. He’s practically yelling at his SO asking if that was some sort of sick joke?? Why would they moan out his brothers name?? Cash can be a very jealous skeleton so this is a really bad mistake to make with him.

Lush: he stops kissing to give his SO a resigned and rather disgusted look. Lush doesn’t say anything no matter what SOs excuses are. He just leaves the room before his temper catches up with him. This isn’t the first time someone has dated him for a chance at getting his brother, so lush has already emotionally written SO off.

Weasel: he huffs out a laugh and tells SO to pick a different brothel skeleton. Sorry but inviting sir to this make out session is off the table to weasel. How about pesto or Flambé instead?~ (if you date any of the brothel skeletons, you might as well be dating the others too)

If you’re feeling up to it, I was wondering how Lord, Mal, Wine & Mutt (+ any others if you wish) would feel about a milf (or dilf) type S/O who just gives off a vibe that attracts animals that has led to the “may have or may not have accidentally adopted type situations” at times. For example S/O was just bringing the guys some lunch and a gaggle of chicks have somehow started following them out of no where, or a where the hell did that cow come from?

(Adoring animals aside) S/O seems to have what is needed; someone in Mal’s class has cut themselves here’s a plaster! you need a snack? here you go! you need a specific type of coloured pen or preferred stationary? Why didn’t you say sooner, my love!

Mal: he’s not a huge animal fan so will often be the one shooing them all away. Whenever poor SO tries to do it they just keep swarming them lol. Now if SO is intentionally sneaking animals into his home they’re gonna have problems. He gets real used to SOs seemingly bottomless pockets and has started just expecting them to have every Knick knack on hand.

Cash: if he’s living with SO they might wind up having a zoo of pets in their home. Cash has a hard time saying no lol. He will teach them morally questionable tricks, be warned. Cash often gets himself all scraped up from his pranks or from just being super tired, so SOs endless bandaid supply really comes in handy here.

Lord: he’s very seriously considering buying a farm at this point. Between SO and mutt, the home is just filled with animals now. Also SO being prepared for every situation is high-key w big turn on for lord. Whenever they pull out the exact tool needed from their pocket, he’s biting his lip lol. SOs reliability gets him all hot under the collar~

Mutt: you guys are moving to farm at this point. Animals flock to SO and mutt seems to just find them in droves. Y’all have half of the house dedicated to the pets by now. Anyways mutt is so in love and is living in bliss with SO.

Wine: 98% of the animals are gently released or rehomed through wines efforts. He will not allow him and SO to live in a pig stall. … but every now and then a particularly clever pet can stay. He treats his SOs preparation skills like a contest and will be equally ready for any situation. If a friend ever cuts their finger, SO hands them the bandaid while wine hands them the cleaner lol.

How would they react if they fell asleep on the couch or something, and woke up to their S/O also inside their hoodie, all cuddled up to them?

Awww. Also they all wear hoodies every now and then (yes even edge) so this could apply to any of them

Sans: he’s always super out of it for like 20 minutes after waking up, so his SO is treated to the rare sound of sans’ purring. As soon as his brain catches up it stops sadly. But SO does get some sleepy nuzzles to make up for it.

Papyrus: he must have been really messed up if he had managed to fall asleep without getting changed into a pajama set. Papyrus is usually pretty pressed about proper sleepwear lol. Anyways when he wakes up, he gives SO a firm hug/squeeze underneath the hoodie accompanied by an embarrassed “OH MY STARS DID I REALLY FALL ASLEEP IN THIS??”

Star: he sleeps for exactly four hours a night and genuinely feels refreshed from that. Also Star NEVER naps and can be woken up by a leaf rustling. So the second SO tries to wriggle into his hoodie he’s snickering and trying to tickle them.

Honey: this is how you seduce him. He wakes up with hearts in his eyesockets. If SO is awake they’re greeted with a shower of smooches all over their cheeks forehead and lips. If they’re asleep, honey kinda just mentally screams and lays as still as a statue until SO wakes up lol.

Red: first of all, red is a super light sleeper. There’s no way SO didn’t wake him when they snuck into his hoodie. He just pretended to keep sleeping so he could win some cuddles ;). SO might grow suspicious when a hand from their “sleeping” bonefriend just happens to grab their bum ;)))

Edge: the second he wakes up he freezes. His cute adorable fragile SO is all tangled up in his hoodie snoozing away. If he even so much as twitches he could wake them. It’s like when a cat is on your lap and you’re not legally allowed to move. SO can keep him trapped like this for hours if they want to (or at least until he has to go to work)

Mal: he wakes up, sees SO and instantly chooses violence. SO wakes up shrieking as sharp fingers dig into their most ticklish spots. And the worst part is they’re trapped by the hoodie. Mal isn’t stopping until his SO is crying lmao

Cash: he doesn’t wake. Cash has bad insomnia so the few times he actually does manage to fall asleep, he’s basically in a coma. Unless SO is committed to being there all night and a good chunk of the morning, they’ll have to get up at some point. Laying on a skeleton isn’t the most comfy after all.

Oak: he also sleeps like the dead and won’t wake up, but oak will smell his SO in his sleep. Of course his body activates the sleep purrs. It’s like snuggling a lawnmower

Blooky is happy that Mettaton’s happy. They’ve never seen him beaming brighter in his life. Not only does he have his dream body and dream career, he has his dream partner now too.

They welcome you to their place and offer you a ghost sandwich—which, of course, phases right through your hand. They then try to console you by giving you a hug…and of course, they phase right through your body. Oh no. Noooooo.

You assure them it’s alright and ask to see some of the music they’ve made. Your beloved speaks so highly of it, after all. You spend the rest of the afternoon lying on the floor like garbage as it echoes through the house.

Maddy’s not quite sure what to think at first. Who is this person that’s suddenly stealing away the attention from her cousin, again? But, over time, her feelings melt from suspicion into toleration, and one day you make a joke that causes her to laugh so hard that she invites you to the cafe down the street the next day.

You feel like you’ve finally clicked. She opens up a big more about herself, her relationship with Mettaton—not bearing her soul completely, but sharing just enough so she feels like the cool older sister you never had. It’s at this point where, like any good sister does for their sibling in law, she starts pouring out every blackmailable detail about the cousin she grew up with.

lol sorry it took so long. I got a bit distracted. Anyways here's a bunch more monster dishes using the suggestions y'all sent me (and some extras ;)

Gravy and specks: star root and star squash are cooked together with some glowing mushroom varieties found underground. The star squash is pulped and boiled alongside chopped star root to make a pasta and potato base. The mushrooms are then chopped alongside a protien like bacon, cream and spices are added, then the sauce is poured on top of the "pasta". The whole thing looks like a bunch of glowsticks doused in candy sauce. Its loved by children.

Cheer-up solution: technically this isnt marketed as a food. This common potion can be found in any general store and is sold as mild stimulant or energy boost. The potions main ingredient is concentrated baleberry juice with some added sugars and a very tiny dose of caffeine. It doesn't do anything for humans.

Cave bricks: false stalactite is mashed and pressed into a compact rectangle along with ground pork, beef or snail and a load of very finely chopped onion. Then its baked and eaten like a brownie lol. Its deliciously meaty tasting. It's popular to have the stuff in a bun or with mashed potato on top.

Sugarplums: Plumberries are soaked in mead, given a brittle candy coating then lightly dusted in sugar to add some sparkle. This sickeningly sweet dessert is for the adults only but more relaxed families let the kids have a few on holidays lol.

Hearth eggs: a native drakefell dish. wyrm eggs are washed then placed in a pan half full with bone broth. flour, herbs and scallions are dumped on top and the contents are covered and left to simmer for about an hour. The result is a savory bread pudding with half-boiled eggs that you can mix on top. Wyrm eggs take nearly all day to fully hard-boil so if you want just the eggs don't add the flour.

Tricksters: this potato chip brand is flavored with cheddar cheese and jugglers fungi. Its super yummy and a great source of quick energy if you want a pick me up without any caffeine. However, if its windy out, the chips will fly out of an open bag and circle you tauntingly.

Ladle staple: vegetable broth made from mainly greens like cabbage, zucchini, celery and others are made by being constantly stirred by a ladle leaf during the cooking process. The result is a very herby soup base that tastes like a blend of rosemary, thyme and a hint of paprika.

There’s a decent handful of them in ebott! They’re all from the farm AUs of course lol
