Forgetting about the horribleness of Elon, the aesthetics of these things should disqualify them from any vehicle purchase consideration. They are so ugly. They don't have any connection to past industrial design and they don't really seem futuristic in any reasonable design sense. I could somewhat understand the heptagons not quite being regular because constructing a perfect regular heptagon is considered to be impossible without tools that are more advanced than just straight edge and compass [the issue is that cos(360Β°/7) cannot be expressed using solely addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and square roots] However, the decagon doesn't have this issue since cos(360Β°/10) is exactly (1 + β5)/4 [also known as half of the golden ratio].
