1. Foundation – Doomsday Theory & Early Experiments

Inspired by Kyudai Garaki’s “Quirk Singularity / Doomsday Theory.”

AFO realizes Quirks will outgrow human bodies.

Begins cultivating potential vessels to house multiple Quirks without breaking down.

2. Historical Roots

Birth of Zen (All For One) and Yoichi.

AFO develops obsession with “ownership” and creating a perfect successor.

Steals, experiments, and cultivates hatred as fuel for a future vessel.

3. Prototype Candidates

Number 6 → “Blank slate,” molded by AFO under guise of O’Clock. Served as a long-term test of psychological grooming, quirk augmentation, and body modification.

Nine → Engineered with a copy of AFO’s Quirk; genetic instability shows vessel limitations.

Overhaul (Kai Chisaki) → Decay copy extracted from Overhaul’s Quirk, stripped of restorative ability, became Tenko/Tomura’s Decay. Overhaul himself viewed as a “useful piece,” but not viable as vessel.

Dabi (Toya Todoroki) → Rescued from death and rebuilt with regenerative tissue. Intended as spare vessel, but rejected AFO’s conditioning due to obsession with Endeavor. Escaped.

Nomu & Trigger Experiments → Villain Factory, bioengineering, Quirk-boosting drugs — all stepping stones in testing compatibility and durability.

4. Main Vessel Development – Tenko Shimura

Quirkless child (original factor stolen by AFO).

Gifted incomplete Decay quirk.

Groomed into Tomura Shigaraki, “Symbol of Fear.”

Carried psychological conditioning (hands of his family, hatred cultivation).

Reinforced through bioengineering, combat training, and Quirk stacking (planned AFO transfer).

5. Failures, Lessons & Refinement

Each prototype revealed limits:

Number 6 = unstable psyche.

Nine = genetic degradation.

Dabi = uncontrollable will.

Overhaul = flawed Quirk transplant.

Lessons led to focus on hatred, willpower, and body reinforcement as key vessel requirements.

6. Execution of Final Plan

AFO duplicates his own Quirk, stores a copy with Garaki.

Waits for Tomura to reach maturity in both will and body.

Intends to overwrite Tomura with himself (true vessel transfer).

Backup contingencies: Gigantomachia, Nomu, Yuga Aoyama as mole.

7. Endgame

Tomura becomes perfect fusion: Symbol of Fear + Symbol of AFO.

Vessel capable of enduring Quirk singularity.
